Non-toxic Solar antifreeze is composed of propylene glycol and demineralized water, which provides the heating system with protection against frost at temperatures of up to -36° C. At the same time, the antifreeze is also resistant to high temperatures of up to 180°C. The antifreeze for solar installations - contains a mixture of supplements and corrosion inhibitors, thus ensuring optimal protection of the elements of the solar system and extending its operating life. Due to its properties, the antifreeze is ready for use and filling systems without dilution and preventive preparation. This antifreeze is biodegradable and is characterized by a low level of toxicity, because the glycol used is a food product.
Use
It can be used in the circuits of solar installations (solar panels) as well as in the food industry because it is not toxic / harmful in contact with water.
Characteristics
- has a very high boiling point: it protects the operation of installations at temperatures between -36 ºC and +165 ºC, depending on the dilution with water;
- contains ORGANIC corrosion inhibitors, additives, pH regulators and polymeric dispersants.
- long-term anti-corrosion protection of the metals, alloys, gaskets or plastic materials used in the circuits of these installations (aluminum, copper, brass, steel, cast iron, rubber, plastics, gaskets);
- it is an ecological product;
- it is not toxic in contact with water, which is why it is recommended for solar installations or those in the food industry;
- it has excellent anti-foaming properties.
- the boiling point of the water in the installation increases
- flocculant and anti-algae effect
- no silicates, no borax, no nitrates.
- protects the installation from overheating
